Meet the Founders

Tariq Bokhari, Co-Founder & CEO

Tariq has spent his career at the intersection of financial and technology industries, and is a passionate evangelist for rising tide of FinTech disruption. Prior to launching PFM Hero, Tariq served as the Head of Innovation and Investment for FIS Global, a $9B+ fintech company. Tariq has built a profitable business from scratch, designed and implemented global risk and cybersecurity programs, launched FinTech Accelerator programs, and completed over a dozen acquisitions. He has also held executive positions in Fortune 500 companies such as GE Capital, Wells Fargo and Wachovia.

Thomas Gathings, Co-Founder & CTO

Thomas is a results-driven developer with a unique combination of IT, risk management, and information security domain expertise along with strong business acumen. Before launching PFM Hero, Thomas served as the CTO of FIS Global’s Innovation Office. He brings drive, passion and trustworthiness to creating effective solutions. Thomas is a master of system architecture, application development, and related disciplines. Throughout his career, he has developed award-winning applications spanning numerous industries including FinTech and Banking, Energy, Construction Management, and Retail. He most enjoys agile development practices, and has won in regional hackathon competitions.
